Ryan Krohn

For this project, I participated in an internship that takes place over the Summer of 2017 and continued until the end of my college education.  More specifically, I was able to maintain my security clearance as an FBI employee for my project.  In order to do this, I worked 16 hours a month down at the Las Vegas field office.  Currently I am working with the violent crimes squad and assisted them with any kind of case work they give me.  Over the Summer and up until this current point in time, I have worked in various different areas of the FBI.  I started in communications, then moved to information technology (IT), and now I’m on the violent crimes squad.  I have assisted agents by creating transcripts of suspects’ conversations, setting up and delivering new bureau phones to employees, and making sure communication throughout the building was quick and efficient.  Being on a new squad, I will be working directly with the agents to help further their investigations.
