A little over a year ago I decided to apply to the FBI as an intern.  I heard about this opportunity from my next door neighbor who is an FBI agent.  Being a nutrition major, I didn't really think I had a chance but I decided to apply anyway.  I ended up being considered for the position and began my hiring process.  It included an interview portion just like any other job, a very extensive background check, and a polygraph test.  The background check was very in depth and took several months to complete.  After that was done, I went in to take a polygraph test and ended up passing.  It was at that moment that I was officially hired as an intern for the FBI.

I started the internship in mid June of 2017 and continue to participate in the program.  My project was to maintain my security clearance while I went to school.  So two days a month I would drive back down to Las Vegas and complete my hours in order to keep my clearance.
